Investment Plans are a simpler way to build your property portfolio. Select your investment amount and we will invest the funds in the most suitable properties, according to the Plan's criteria. Return profiles are made up of three elements, dividend yield (rental income), capital gain and market portfolio (which tracks Better’s direct investments in properties trading on the Exchange).
The return figures shown for each plan of course can not be guaranteed however, in our opinion, they are realistic forecasts of what is achievable. Our return forecasts are also net of costs and transaction fees associated with using our platform, but before personal taxation. All clients should read the details associated with an Investment Plan to ensure it suits their investment needs and goals. Once you have chosen a plan and committed funds, we do the hard work for you and find the properties that best match the Investment Plan's criteria. We aim to deploy your funds as quickly as possible whilst following investment principles that ensure you get the best available price and a diversified portfolio. You can learn more about how your funds will be deployed here.
Once we have deployed your funds you will be able to track the progress of your investments on your Dashboard under “My Portfolio”, alongside any other investments you hold. Dividends are paid monthly (subject to announced suspensions) and you can list your shares for sale at any time on our Exchange.
A 2% investment fee applies, which will be applied once we have successfully deployed your funds. Investments made on the Exchange are also subject to 0.5% Stamp Duty Reserve Tax.
As with many investments your capital is at risk. You should ensure you have read the Key Risks associated with using London House Exchange before investing. If you are unsure about how the platform works you can read more content in our Knowledge Base or get in contact with a member of our customer services team.
