After a customer sets up a London House Exchange account, we complete an identity verification check. This is an essential part of our due diligence process, and is something that’s required by our regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for all customers.
In the event that we are unable to complete the identity verification check electronically, we will ask that you provide two identity documents that may need to be certified by an independent professional, e.g. your accountant, doctor or solicitor. Whilst we appreciate that this can be an inconvenience, our objective and intention is ultimately a benefit that protects both our customers and ourselves.
